Foster Care Education

We provide virtual field trips, summer camps and educational resources to foster children in the United States. By bringing young minds into our ecosystem, we provide them the support system and opportunity to learn.

We believe our results will lead to better adults in the future, contributing to society and progressing humanity.

Nearly 724,000 children are in foster care in the United States.

The average age of kids entering care is 8.

Only 10 percent — live in institutions or group homes.

A higher likelihood to experience homelessness, unemployment, and incarceration as adults.

Mission and History

In April 2021, our founder, Hari, wanted to support the kids that needed help the most. With the aftermath of COVID-19, he realized there was an influx of orphans worldwide, and summer 2021 was going to be their first one alone. Unlike previous wildlife conservation efforts in collaboration with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, he found foster care nonprofits full of expensive bureaucracy.

What surprised him was how receptive social services and foster care organizations were to working with Zoptiks directly. At that moment, he knew Zoptiks could do better. The Zoptiks Foundation Inc. was incorporated in the state of North Carolina to support education and wildlife conservation efforts globally.

As of June 12th 2021, The Zoptiks Foundation has delivered 2500 licenses with 864 actived accounts via foster care systems in North Carolina and plans to ramp up a nationwide campaign.
